Cultural Diversity in Music Education (CDIME) Conference 2025

Dear colleagues,

I am delighted to share with you a call for proposals for the next Cultural Diversity in Music Education (CDIME) conference. In 2025, the 17th CDIME conference will be an in-person event, to be held in Limerick, Ireland, 30th September – 2nd October, 2025. Link here:  https://www.mic.ul.ie/CDIME2025. The conference is co-hosted by Mary Immaculate College and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University of Limerick.

The CDIME 2025 conference invites presenters to reflect on ‘Living Diversity, Imagining Inclusivity: Practicing (Non-)belongings in Music Education.’ We invite proposals for papers, panels, or arts practice presentations that consider this conference theme. Proposals should be submitted via the online abstract management system (see https://www.mic.ul.ie/CDIME2025/Call-for-Proposals) before December 16th, 2024.

Please share this call widely with your networks.

We look forward to welcoming you to Limerick!

Ailbhe

(on behalf of the conference committee)
